It’s been a year since we learned that the merger was going to happen. It did. I am still here.
People that were close to me and were instrumental in my growth as a leader have gone. They chose the other path with valid reasons I must say. Just last week I found out that I am the last person standing in the original group that took the company to its greatest milestone before the merger took place. It is sad to think that most, if not all of my allies have left. But, the show must go on.
So, what has happened since?
I’ve grown stronger and held on for dear life, along with my team who, until now, has been very supportive of my vision. I am proud and blessed to have a team who is talented, very skilled, and passionate as I am.
Being head of performance and accountable for monitoring and innovating the learning system, it has opened up tons of opportunities for me to make a difference in the industry. I am still learning, mind you, but it has opened my eyes to new ideas and perspectives.
Let’s just say this is an introduction to a new beginning and more stories to tell. Along with my co-author Michael Moser, I plan to continue my passion for writing and share what I’ve gone through, hoping that others can learn (or perhaps unlearn) from them.

Thanks for the update, Jam. You are missed! I'm glad to hear that you're using the challenges to grow deeper and stronger. All the best to you!
