
It is interesting to note that not only we know that the Philippines is expected to grow even more due to outsourcing, especially in the call center arena, that now India has started to invest in the country as well.
Krissy, writer for BPO Tiger, has listed the top and best centers in India. Interesting enough, about 3 companies have opened up their centers here about 2 years ago. One I may say have acquired a locally owned center to start competing with “the big guys” such as Convergys.
This may not be new to veterans but it is being discussed by senior and middle management. We all know this is about economics and financials. But, is this a good thing? Yes. Not only do we see more jobs being created, this has given us another perspective in managing the centers. Excellence in processes and continuous improvement on how we do things plus the strength in the English language with a culture focused on great customer service, we only expect great things to come.
