Best Managed Global Call Center Vendors

2007 has set in but to move towards to this year, we will stop and look back on what companies have made it in Doug Brown and Scott Wilson’s list.  The Black Book of Outsourcing is a best seller and has listed the 50 best managed global outsourcing vendors.

2006 Top 50 Best Managed Outsourcing VendorsA survey was distributed electronically to customers, employees, buyers, contractors and users worldwide in early 2006 and closed in June last year.  What caught my interest is not only there was a list out there to use as a reference when picking a company to outsource your services to (or choose to work for), but was more of the number of employee respondents and its segregation.  It states, “Of employee respondents, 18.3% were management or supervisory level, 81.7% were non-management.”  A big chunk was not from management.

This just proves that the front liners should be the priority and not the other way around.  It still is all about customer satisfaction, internal that is.  Productivity and profitability will increase when the company’s head values its people.  This industry is all about that.

Here is a partial list isolating those that service as outsourced call centers.

You can find them in order by reading the full article at Sourcingmag.com.

Hey Jam! I've been seeing your post since I started in this call center business and I highly appreciate what you are doing.

I was just wondering if you have an e-mail so that I could chitchat with you in this business. I've been working in this business for 7 months now and I wanna help this one grow. I'm still a rookie though, 25 yrs. old and just an average outbound agent.

My concern is about campaigns operating in our business. Here's how I think...hehehehe...let's say a small retail business wants to tap call center industry. Buys health supplements from China or whatever planet and uses the resources of the call center to market its bought products. Its an extreme advantage right? With all the cost governing marketing cut down right to zero. I was wondering if business like this are taking advantage of our resources since they are only paying for the confirmed sales. And if quota cannot be met because of poor product and damned bad leads, commissions also vanishes. Hehehehe.

IN SHORT, call center cost + client cost = extreme cost for the center. Now we are pressured to create 40 confirmed sales for the week just to break-even. Do we deserve to carry the burden of such decisions.

Can you create some topics for this one. I could tell you more also that is why i needed your e-mail.

Take note also, I have been a top-seller but until now I haven't recieved a single commisssion. But I'm not worried about that...because there is a concept in japanese that I stood for, Giri.

The company has given me skills and I am doing this in return of favor

I was looking for Philippine call center articles when i saw this blog. This call center blog really rocks.

Dear Mr. Nasir,

I'm a distributor of consumer products in Karachi.
We normally hire sales reps to survey and take orders from retail shops. The sales calls per day per sales rep average 70. Thus our costs are high.

I think a local call centre (having lists of around 20,000 shops in Karachi and their phone numbers) can easily do this job at a much cheaper cost. What do you say.

Kindly let me know if you know any local call centre that can help me out.
