I thought I’ve seen everything but this is a first. Though call centers can spring up from any industry, this has never occurred to me.
Lea Alissa posted her story and an excerpt reads:
"I picked up the receiver and this guy says to me that he was calling from a call center that prayed for people. I was stunned. He proceeds by introducing himself, his name was RJ and would I happen to want anything that he can pray for.
Strange. Is this God calling?
This stranger over the phone prayed for more than I asked for. I told him that I wanted him to pray for good health for me and my husband. He prayed that we would be blessed with financial stability, good health, happiness and that God would guide us all the way.”
So, now we have a prayer hotline that anyone can call if they are in need of prayers. It makes me feel a bit uncomfortable. Why call someone else to ask for prayers if you can do it yourself? Isn’t it more personal and fulfilling if done on your own?
On the other hand, it acts like a helpline so that people can ask for guidance. If you need to talk to someone and end up with a prayer request, this could be comforting.

wow... Nice job! call center for prayer requests? cool!
