Small to Medium Sized Call Centers in the Pipeline

Our government has recently partnered with an American foundation and a local IT school to help start and develop 400-500 small to medium sized call centers in the country.  The purpose is to boost employment and produce quality call center agents.  A goal is also set to teach Filipinos how to run, monitor and manage call centers.

With a network of over 100 branches nationwide, the school is in the best position to provide the needed infrastructure and personnel to make this happen.  The plan is to set up these centers with seats ranging from 20-50.

Filipinos are known for their entrepreneurial spirit and a growing interest has started.  They hope that funding can come into the picture and the foundation is looking into financing some in the near future.

i am intrested in opening a small call centre with 20-25 seats

Please send me details on how I can setup a small call center with 20-30 seats.

Yeah right, but that's wishful thinking not until you can delve deeper into the western culture and assimilate.

that would mean, procalaiming English as the national language of the Phillipines

It is kinda pathetic that Filipinos didn't totally acquire the Spanish Language. That could have made the Philippines a Latin/Hispanic country. well, there are still a whole bunch of people out there who are proud of their hispanic heritage and thinks that the P.I is a latin country. I am one of them. I am proud of my first language which is Spanish. My second language Is Tagalog which i use only to get along. Surprisingly my English kicks ass! Anglo-american english eh? and that's why i snagged a job as a bilingual customer service representative... HEhe... Viva La Raza!

I think Spanish should be re-installed as an offcial language of the Philippines juxtaposed with English. Tagalog..?? well, it should be kicked out of the Public discourse... it affects how people thinks. Here's the argument: Tagalog is an inferior language therefore a person who speaks it will acquire an inferior frame of mind which is not progressive. While Spanish and English are superior Languages spoken by progressive people... whaddya think comrades? if you are a serious call center geek then you'll definitely dig what i'm ranting about. A bunch of people in the call center industry doesn't have any clue about the real score. There's something in the industry more than what meets the eye...
