As call centers flourished, schools or academies have started showing up as well. I was curious about the courses and the curriculum they offer. Here are some of the training programs I’ve seen and a sample of their curriculum.
Frontline Fundamentals
Several web seminars are offered and discuss the basics of call center operations, communications, telephone best practices, writing effective emails, and customer relationships.
Quality Assurance
Workforce Management
Call Center Supervision
I might try one of their tracks or a seminar to see if it’s worth it. If you attended any of their classes, let me know and your review will definitely help and point us in the right direction.
Partnered with Avaya, they launched last 2001 in the Philippines. Their programs are not too extensive though only focusing on call center agent training.
International Call Center Proficiency
Intensive Communications Training
Customer Service
Telemarketing
American Culture & Geography
I was a bit disappointed that they didn’t offer any classes for support groups. I believe they are focusing on training front liners and placing them into call centers in the country than anything else. I suggest that they diversify and not stick to American culture only.
Certificate Courses
There are several business schools that also offer training for call center personnel. They focus more on running the business and learning the concepts and successful management of call centers.
University of Phoenix Online
Just found two certificate programs online they offer.
